Making millions on YouTube

Ranked second after PewDiePie by Forbes Magazine, Roman Atwood grossed an estimated 8 Million dollars in 2016. He is famous for his numerous prank videos. His YouTube channel has over 10 million subscribers and his 8-million-dollar income shows a 70% increase. 2016 was quite the busy year for this guy; touring with fellow YouTuber Yousef Saleh Erakat, starring in a feature film, selling his usual merchandise and working on a book Will Work for Smiles. Let’s not forget his brand associations that are enabling him to make huge bucks.

The top YouTuber, Swedish gamer PewDiePie made 15 million dollars from his channel which had over 50 million subscribers. Coming in at third after prankster Roman Atwood on the top grossing YouTube millionaires, is Lily Singh who made a whopping 7.5 million dollars from her hilarious impressions and honest videos of herself. Other YouTubers making it to the list include: Anthony Padilla and Ian Hecox of Smosh, Tyler Oakley and Rosanna Pansino who tied at 5th position, gamer Mark Fischbach and comedian German Garmendia at 6th position, Rhett and Link and Miranda Sings tied at position 7.

These 12 YouTubers combined made 70.5 million dollars from their various channels.
